Visited the Cape Breton Miner’s Museum in Glace Bay.
 • Amazing attraction
 • The museum is interesting with a great NFB film
 • The tour was even better. You cannot imagine what it really is like to work in a mine until you are in a mine.
 • Eric Spencer was our mine guide. He worked a long time underground.
 • From “The Miners” by Lillian Crewe Walsh:
“Up and above the sun is shining
In the mine it’s always night
Like a firefly in the darkness
He can see his buddy’s light.”
